KX2 goes QRO

I put together a TRRS (Tip-Ring-Ring-Sleeve) to RCA cable today to give my KX2 a bit of oomph, more out of curiosity than anything.

If you're lucky enough to have a Fry's nearby, TRRS connectors are available - if not, Amazon sells them or you can just buy a cheap headset for less then $15, cut the headset part away and replace it with an RCA connector to go into the KPA500.

No menu enables are required in the KX2 and QSK with the amp online is indistinguishable from with it offline. According to the KPA500's wattmeter and an external wattmeter, I get about 170 watts out on 20m with 10 watts drive:
