I did correspond with Alexey recently only to be told that he has had to relocate to the States because of the war in the Ukraine. Apparently he was unable to take anything with him. 73 JohnJohn G8TDUnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142737426092510126.post-42287615848705422822021-11-11T11:16:49.420-06:002021-11-11T11:16:49.420-06:00I'm glad I looked at this blog post John - I s...I'm glad I looked at this blog post John - I see that you have soldered the fastening nuts to the heatsinked devices. The soldering points for the neon lamp are UNDER the BNC plug's body, so it could be best mounted lieing on the other side of the RF board.
With the ATU, the neon lamp can stay there and the 2 wires of the ATU antenna input could be soldered to the BNC plug wires.Dirkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06086592982787104041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142737426092510126.post-1995260638840385382021-01-01T08:13:29.469-06:002021-01-01T08:13:29.469-06:00Good idea, I hadn't thought of that. TX freq we can received from CPU of the transceiver (as in KX2 or KX3),or we can build some kind of frequency counter in the tuner.

In the first caseUTØUMhttp://www.mchf.atnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1142737426092510126.post-34041891165389200492020-04-29T02:50:58.415-05:002020-04-29T02:50:58.415-05:00John, you are a big inspiration for all kit builde...John, you are a big inspiration for all kit builders.
